Look closely. Notice the nail heads, old mill saw marks and the heavy varied wood grain. So the story goes that a tile designer was walking through a warehouse in Turkey and noticed a wood pallet made from beautiful wood planks. She pulled it apart, photographed it…but it needed more contrast so she took a torch to the surface of a few pieces. Voil’a! Burnt Pallet wood tile.
