Our Flexbone is the smartest underlyment choice for discerning contractors and first time tile setters alike. It is used for the same purpose as Ditra mat by Schluter, but unlike the Ditra mat you can use a fully modified polymer mortar to set your tile on it! That makes for a stronger bond to large format porcelain tiles. We also sell our Flexbone by the linear foot so no need to purchase a whole roll of Ditra mat when we can sell you just the amount you need.

ARDEX UI 740 Flexbone Uncoupling Tile Underlyment
ARDEX UI 740™ FLEXBONE® Uncoupling Membrane is a high load-bearing uncoupling membrane ideal for large format tile in high traffic areas. The unique bone-shaped pattern with GripLock Technology delivers outstanding tensile bond strength. The system helps neutralize underlying substrate movement and supports and distributes heavy loads from above. Special high-performance felt helps provide vapor equalization. ARDEX UI 740 FLEXBONE can be used as a waterproof layer in bathrooms and wet areas.
